Annoying problem!!
Hay ppl need some help, I have a 1999 1.2 corsa sxi 16v with a rubbish radio reception... When I brought the car it had standard vaux radio in but I replaced that for a aftermarket one.. When fitting the unit I noticed there was 2 ariel connections tested them and one was totally dead other worked so plugged that into the headunit.. Problem is radio reception is totally crap.. Listen to radio 1 and ram fm a lot and I keep totally losing signal, or it cracks up a bit... I even parked up next to a mate other day in his corsa both had same radio station on myn was crackly his was perfect.. Car still has standard vaux ariel on roof.. Anyone suggest summat to check to see why I have poo signal or is it a case of plug the iPod in a f*ck the radio lol

pull your radio out and check to see if the black and white wire is connected to anything , thats the amp feed in the aerial base if its got no power supply your reception will be crap
