i did this, i just got some primer, paint and lacquer, gave the plastic a little rub over with very fine sandpaper wiped over with a tack rag then primered, sprayed and lacquered. looks nice if done proper. if you know how to take the bits off then its a doddle just abit fiddly putting some things back on because you dont wanna be scratchin the new paint lol

Can i just use the normal car paint? i'm thinking of doing them the same colour as the external? (silver)

I'm also considering covering the door cards and maybe the rest of the dash with a black suede effect fabric how easy is this to do?

i have never done anything like the covering your thinking about but as for the paint i jus got spray paint used on the exterior and used it on the inside, mine was a red corsa so i sprayed inside red and it looked smart as then my next red corsa i had i spryed the same parts of the inside white and that looked smart but got dirty to easy dno if the silver would though, make sure you post some pics if and when you have done it
