white smoke help

Hi i have a corsa sport and ive just put a tigra 1.6 engine in it and there seems to be white smoke cumming from the exhaust when i brought the engine i was told it had bin stood for a while also the car has a stainless steel exhaust from cat back, there is no mayo on the oil cap and no water loss i was told that i could be condensation and will diserpear as soon as it gets used regular can any 1 confirm this or has the headgasket gone cheers.

when weather is cold, you will get white smoke from the exhuast
could be condensation if the car has been stood should take it for a drive for an hour or so see what its like after
does it smell of burnt oil or petrol?
check the dipstick, if the oil brown?
