arden blue 1.6 sport

Post by M055360 »

Well after learning to drive and having to have a complete poo piece of a car to keep insurance company happy i sold my old car.

Image

I went for a top of the range 1.6 16v sport with A/C (pointless) and ABS (has come in handy) it only had two owners and was completely standard.

Image

Had it for ages now and finally got it to a respectable standard

Spec so far:

colour coded bumper strips and boot lock
slatted grill
opel boot lock badge
ultra smoked lights with red spray tinted sections
homemade depo style headlights
enclosed induction kit with cold air feed
short shift gear linkage
4-2-1 raceland exhaust manifold
sports cat
remus race tube
sportex twin 3'' inch backbox
bbs style alloys (wish i knew what they were)
175/50/14 low profile tyres
janspeed coilovers (wound right down, rear adjusters removed)
ebc brake discs and greenstuff pads

Still got some more bits to get fitted:
flame inlet manifold
white dials and blue interior leds
sparco pedals

i disagree, i think they make the look " different" rather than most the commoners on here going for the same look, all to there own and i think its a lush look 8)

its not a sports cat sits barely over a inch off the ground, the roads are awful round wokingham i blame the idiots digging up the roads and only filling half the holes they dug (two lines between londis and halfords going towards winnersh triangle WTF!). coilovers are a pain in the arse i avoid long journeys if i can.

going to get some different wheels just dunno wot some old skool bmw wheels with a bit of a dish would be good

cheers, do like the wheels sumin different gives a good stance with a nice bit of negative camber. have got an replica inlet manifold to fit, but planning on selling it now got my eye on a clio 172 now the insurance is reasonable, 168 bhp per ton standard sounds like a laugh
