Car dies when coming to a stop.

Post by Corsab123 »

Aup people.. i have a problem with my car and wondered if anyone knew what it is... Ill be driving along (lets say its a duel-carridgeway) and ill slow down from 70 to 30ish, coming up to a roundabout and then it will just cut out... now ive had this problem b4 but it also wouldnt start at all and i found out that i needed a new battery and when it cut out id just jump it off a mates car and go again. the last time this happened though it wouldnt start at all, then about 5 mins later it started fine and then ded again about a mie down the road. Could this be a fuel problem like the pump or something?? thanks, Sam.

I had the very same problem with mine, turned out to be the crankshaft sensor, take a look at the link to my thread on here, seems to be a common problem.
