Gana strip both engines and keep 1.6 bottom and put 8v top on skim the head right dwn up grade pistons and valves

Re: my corsa 1.2 8v
why the hell would you skim the head right down to raise the compression then put on a turbo its just going to pink and go pooof
If its not bodged then its not "propper"

Re: my corsa 1.2 8v
gotta agree there like. if you want to bolt a turbo onto your engine you need low compression. thats why most people put a spacer plate between the block and head and need forged pistons. not sure about valves never done one myself so i wouldnt know. and why dont you go all the way and get a c20ne and put turbo onto it? its alot easier and you get alot more bhp.

Re: my corsa 1.2 8v
ive got all the stuff to do it but its not worth doing for the hasstle of relocation of oil filter getting a plate laser cut for the spacer plate or low comp pistons either mbe or omex ecu setup to fuel for the boost or 5th injector setup, yeah its different but not worth the mess around, i would put your money to better use and find a bill blydenstein head a manifold from bogg brothers and some big raspy bike carbs! 150 ponies and no melted pistons!
