Stereo keeps reseting :S

Hi every one, fitted a apline stereo in my car the other day (w reg 1.0 12v) and every time i turn the ignition off then back on all the settings are reset and the cd starts again :S. its just the normal stereo adapter pluging straight into the car's loom.

Any help would be great! as its pissing me off lol

i ahd that problem with my car i think u must have got the wires mixed up in the back of the radio. i changed mine over and it saves the setting .. it could be ur remote wire in the wrong 1 as i think u can put it into another wire if i am correct.. ill find out from my mate and let you no

it will be the ignition live and perminant live should be a yellow and a red one
most cd players have bullet connector on these 2 wires so you can easly swap em over

plug the yellow to the red and red to yellow and hey presto! your away

I keep meaning to do the wireswap but my headunit doesn't have the bullet connectors. Need to pick up a couple of wire connectors really. Might be able to figure out how to tune my stereo then
