oil leaking from somthink but dunno what it is

i just filled my oil up and think i may have put a bit too much in, only bout a quarter inch over the dipstick line. but i noticed there was oil coming from sumthink on the engine and was wonding if it does this to empty itself because i put to much in?

what does the thing look like that its leaking from?

its like a metal nozzle coming of the front of the engine, near the dipstick with a plastic thing in the end with one cable connected to the plastic bit ( dunno if thts the oil idicator, the plastic bit does just unclip easily.

what engine does your corsa have? im not sure what your describing lol

yea thats the oil pressure sensor/swich
looks like the seal is damaged causing the leak probably due to putting too much oil in

try removing it first unclip the negative side of the barrery then, unplug the wires from the top of the sensor, put some sort of container under it to catch oil, cus it will spill out, then it should just unscrew, check the seals and replace if nessasery.
once refitted it maybe worth while doing a full oil change taking care as to not overfill it
