Re: Fuel light?
it goes so far down the red before it comes on. i've done bout 20miles before i chickened out and filled up lol
if it gets really low and still doesnt come on, check the bulb isnt blown

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: Fuel light?
check your car has a fuel light first, my 1.0i didnt have one
i think its the clocks without a rev counter didnt have a low fuel warning light.

Re: Fuel light?
It is not a good idea to run the car in the red. When you do this, the pump will be lifting all th sh*t that is left in the bottom of the tank. You could end up with a blocked filter, or fuel line, not a great idea especially if your engine has full injection system.
Try and keep it at least on the quarter mark, remember that once filled, it is as easy to keep the tank full, as it is empty, if you see what I mean. Not that it is wise to run with a full tank all the time either, it adds a lot of weight to the car, and will cause your mpg to be slightly less.

Re: Fuel light?
low spec corsas dont have a fuel light, easy way to check is just turn the ignition on does the low fuel light come on before the fuel gauge rises if it doesnt then it hasnt got one
