diesel corsa HELP!!!
i have a n reg corsa merit, and its a 1.7 diesel and i really want to make it faster but i dont want to swap to a petrol. Any ideas about a reasonably tuneable TD engine that would drop in fairly easily????

1.7 isuzu td out of a astra cav or vectra. Its pretty much the same engine as the one u got, but with a turbo lol. produces about 80 hp standard but easily tune up to well over 100hp for about 50 quid.
it drops in pretty easily, only thing that really needs changing is the egde of where the box mounts to the block. it needs 'shaving' to make sure the corsa box fits. I think the alternator needs re locating too, but ent sure.
As to tuning the 1.7td once in, white ring mod, and increase the boost

insurance kills it and im a dweeb for being on the right side of the law since my last car got nicked and the insurance sooooo nearly fell through.
