EGR QUICK QUESTION
What would happen if i disconected the terminals for egr whould this cause problems.....basic i no the prob is the egr as eml keeps coming (checked codes) and wen it does the car drives perfect all speeds... so could i disconnect it for now help please

ur management light is coming on because the egr valve isnt working. if you disconnect it the ecu will just think its completely f**k and wont help your problem.

Do you have to disconnect the fuel lines on a X16XE Corsa in the guides it tells you too but can you not get to it otherwise?

if octane says you shud, i would follow his advise. he knows his stuff. either tht or he's a really good guesser lol

never dona it on a 1.6 but i did it on my 1.2 and it was easy but fiddley

you could do, the act of removing the EGR will depressurize the fuel system aswell.
but doing it from a fuel pipe gives you the chance to prepare and catch any spraying fuel!
