Corsa b sport central locking?

Post by zerohero »

Hiya,

I have a 1.4L corsa sport 3d, its a P reg. I want to add remote central locking to the car but im not too sure what I need. I presume that it already has the motors in the door? as when I turn the key all the doors and boot open simultaneously, but I’m not a mega car person and just would like someone who is to clarify this for me.

If I am right about the motors already being in the door would a kit like this do the job?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0370891320

Thanks in advance,

zeroo.

yea if it opens all the doors then you have central locking, and just need to wire a remote in to it
not sure about cheap ebay kits they tend to break easly
have a look in yellow pages for a mobile car alarm fitter could probably get one done for £70 with remote locking
and its an alarm too! lol

Thanks for the quick reply mate. Maybe I will look into getting a professional doing it, wasnt in all hounestly looking to spend more than £50 on this but if £20 means the difference between me doing it or a professional then... lol. Well atleast I have the option to do both I guess, instead of installking those motors myself which looked alot harder!
