help please!!
when i was on my way back from work earlier my corsa seems to be hard to get into gear. i have to give it a really hard push to get it into gear and when i put it in reverse it grinds like hell! someone told me it could be the gear box oil is this true? ( sorry i'm no good with cars ) its a corsa sport 1.4 16v. where do i check to find if the oil is low in the gear box?

Re: help please!!
It could be the oil or it might be the selector in the gearbox on its way out.

check for warn bushes on the gear linkage.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Re: help please!!
you could try adjusting the clutch a bit and see if that improves it

Re: help please!!
to check the gear oil level there is a 13mm bolt on right side of gearbox behind drive shaft as you look from the front of the car. its a pig to get at, you may need to remove nsf wheel and get at it from the side or from underneith the car. could also be worn linkage as matty said. it could also be the clutch itself.
