Re: SRI 1.4 16V WHITE RALLY CAR
i know :/ unfortunately its essential for road rally events... as the car is supposed to be 'standard-ish' like road legal... the main essentials are that it has to have back seats and a parcel shelf -.-
but for stages that im going to be doing they'll be OUT!

Re: SRI 1.4 16V WHITE RALLY CAR
its not like the back seats or parcel shelf weigh much anyway, all it is, is foam and bit of tin, standard front seats are way more heavier compared!

Re: SRI 1.4 16V WHITE RALLY CAR
hes corect about the rear seats you dont have to have a rear parcel shelf tho but the majoraty of the standard trim has to be kept in ( stupid msa ruling ). which event are you doing fella ? bring it over to the drystone in derbyshire its in july im the chief marshal so ill be driving a course car on the night, its a fantastic event. for you suspension fella billies are the way forward and use 1.7 combo diesel fron springs as there cheap and lift the body by about an inch and there also stiffer because the diesel is a heavier engine thats what i use and it does work quite well. where abouts in wales are you ?

hi, i have a set of corsa diesel 1.4 springs coming tomorrow , but yeah im in the cardigan area of west wales, im with teifi valley motor club, the event on the 29th is just an auto test but the cars is going to get a good testing . yeah MSA regulations mean the trim has to be there but motor club rules state the parcel shelf has to be present too -.- but in the summer im going to be competing at stage events in bont so it will be all out . i will post links to youtube videos of t he car in action at the auto test .

Re: SRI 1.4 16V WHITE RALLY CAR
quick update... i decided to strat it up last week and it decided to go pop... took the head off... damage is 3 snapped valves... 5 bent valves and a scourged head ( -.- ) so i need a new head :/
when i took the head off i read the engine code and it said " X4XE - X6XEL " the engine is supposed to be a 1.4 sri... on on of the cams it reads '16XE' does this mean someone has but 1.6 (non XEL just XE) cams in it because when i took the cam shafts out i saw something ive never heard/seen before.. the cams had been striking the body of the head... any ideas? :L
