Will 17"s Fit My Corsa?

Hi, i don't know that much about cars, but wanted to get some nice rims for my corsa, would 17s fit? and if i wanted them would i need low profile tyres? would they rub with a car full of people?

or if i was to get 15"s, how much would it cost to get the car lowered?

15's are probly the best for a corsa

17's on a corsa look crap, i'd say 16's are the limit.

its not as easy as just buying sum 16's and hoping they dont rub btw. theres a lot to bearin mind....

you can get lowering kits off ebay for about 150. but it depends how low u wana go. 40mm and u have to have alloys with an offset of 45-49et but if you want to lower it 60+mm it has to be an offset of 49et.

most alloy wheel makers dont make alloys with an offset of 49et. so you either have to really shop around or use standard vauxhall alloys as they have the correct offset.

iv got 17inch voodoos on mine with a 70mm drop front and 80mm rear had to trim plastic and remove front plastic splash guard lip a little up to you whatever you want yourself and as for 17s look crap well.............................. do your own thing thats the best thing bout modding your motor dont follow suit dare to be diffrent

on the 1st corsa i had it had 205/40/17s on it and lowerd 40mm all i had to do was bond the rear arches on rather than using the 10mm plastic bolts as the wheels rubbed on them

I had 17s on mine with a 30mil drop and it looked crap plus it will slow your car down

30mm drops not quite enough tho, im thinking of trying 17s with a 60mm drop tho see how it goes then, i tried them on with the 40mm drop i have atm but it just doesnt seem right somehow...

well i have 17s and lowerd 40mm with a wide arch kit on and it looks sweet i think and so do a lot of other people

yes they do help i suppose but all they are is stuck on to my original 1s it doesnt look like ths at the min as im completly stripping it for a respray and a flaming good service lol
