1.4 sport overheating?

Post by bennybelmont »

Hi,

My corsa sport temp gauge says its running too hot i.e it stays at 100 but doesnt go over that however the fan doesnt kick in either.
I've changed coolant temp sensor, radiator fan temp sensor, new thermostat (inc coolant flush, change)
new lamder sensor and spark plugs.
Is there a separate relay for the fan as if a short the fan it does work. Could this be a dodgy relay, or temp gauge not accurate of relay, where is it and what else could be causing it to run too hot (unless its right temp?) Any ideas? thanks

Its a self bleeding system anyway there should be no risk of air blocks..
Ive just fitted a temp gauge i got from scrappy because my gauge actually broke :(
Seems to be running too hot, like around a 100 but the fan kicks in and cools it.. any body know why it might be running hot?
