Steering and sspension

Post by Timmeh »

I noticed the other day when parking, that if i turn the wheel, right or left, it makes a slight clunk noise that i can feel through the wheel when its turned more than about 45 degrees. Any idea what this could be?

Also, it felt like the whole front of the car was loose, and it was knocking slightly. suspension bushes maybe? what else should i check? cheers

is it just at one side? or both wheels? It could be wheel end of your driveshaft has worn away a bit and it doesnt fit in together like they should which makes a knocking noise.

Lol i cant tel tbh. I'm deaf in one ear so cant hear where noises are coming from. But the loose feeling seems to come from the entire front end, so im guessing both sides. Il check the driveshafts. Can i tighten them or do i have to replace them completely?
