94 Gsi

Post by AdamHayman »

Hi, just wondered if you guys could give me an idea of what my car might be worth....
Its an L reg silver gsi.
It has been lowered on PI springs (i think, was done ages ago), has 16" Mille Miglia Spider wheels on, and a s/s piper back box.
It is one of the original "red top" 110bhp engines with 110-120 odd k on it.
I was going to make it a track car but it has been garaged for about 4 years now.... lol.
I put a new battery on it recently not expecting anything but it started easily and with no noises or smoke at all!
The exterior is mint aside from a couple of small dents in the rear quarter (door opened onto it), a small amount of rust on the leading edge of the bonnet and the boot door has some rust too, both easily sorted I reckon.
The interior is mint again aside from a small wear hole on the drivers bolster.
It is a car I had as the second owner and really loved! I just know after 4 years I am not going to get round to doing anything with it.
I looked on ebay and prices seem to vary wildly?!?!
Any help would be great, cheers.

Hmmm.... im not an expert at this but without an MOT id say ud probz get more money splitting it. even tho its a nice car by the sounds of things no one wil pay more than 500 quid absolute tops for a car thats been stood for 4 years and dont have an MOT. Brakes and suspension seize in that time :/

If u cud get an MOT on it then id say u wud be looking at around 1100/1200 for it imo

As i say im no expert - just my opinion for u :)
