helppppp...........................my fan aint comin on and checked all the connectors and there fine, could it be the fuse or thermostat? and got lil bit of water out the exhaust and lil smoky from manifold would could this be? i just recently put a new exhaust on so could it be the exhaust putty? and also would a 1.6 8v cam and cam box fit onto a 1.2 8v?

nah mate iv never heard of anyone doing that cam swap to be honest... and a way you could check to see if its your sensor gone wrong, is what i did for my vw caddy where i had the same problem was take the plug off that goes to the water temperature sensor and bridge it, and if the fan comes on you know its your sensor gone wrong. orrr try bridging your fan first to see if its not the fan thats gone wrong instead.

their was something about you can fit the nova 1.3 cam into a corsa 1.2 tho. but cant remember it all. try google for that is your best bet. but i verry much doubt a 1.6 head would fit on.

just 2 let u know that my gf has that engine and her fan dont come on until the temp is nearly at 100 deg C . Even if the engine gets hot the fan wont usually come on m8

thanks for the help i was just thinking about changin the cam and cam box because they look identical, il check google when i have a change? and would i just get a bit wire and put it in one of the connectors to bridge it?
