I am having an issue with idle when warm on a Corsa 1.4 single point injection.
I initially thought it was the ICV and replaced this (twice with second hand parts off same model/engine size of vehicle).
It did not make any difference.
The issue is, while the engine is cold it runs fine.
When the engine warms up the idle is no longer controlled below 1000 rpm and runs away. Then the engine light comes on a little later.
The car is still usable, but just does not idle at the correct speed - it revvs its head off when clutch not engaged and engine not under load.
Would it be good to get a coder reader and see what the error is?
Is an EGR clean a good way forward?
Is this an engine temperature sensor issue as the car is fine when cold?
Where to start?
Thanks!

Re: Corsa 1.4 Idle when Warm
if the eml has come on the ecu shud have stored a fault code, try the paper clip test or get it to a garage.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
