head unit going off and losin memory

when im driving my headunit sometimes goes off and no power is going to it, i have to unplug all the wires out the back and then plug em back in, it could be a dodgy earth somewhere but not sure, anyone got any ideas?

sounds like a bad earth 2me might be wrong

I was having the same problem with my radio, i had mine fixed on the weekend i went to sextons a audio specialist, when i had my alrm fitted they must have done something to my ignition wire it cost me Â£20 but im glad its done.

is there any easy way to check for a bad earth, or is it a long time consuming process?
