digital dashes difference

whats the physical size difference between a astra GTE dash and a senator/carlton digital dash? anyone have any idea?

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:

hmmm i think i mite have to look in to this one :P

edit, im guessing you have seen the one on ebay, well jst from looking at it i can see it is ALOT thicker than the gte one. and the gte one is aleady a struggle to get in a corsa even wen slim it down as much as possible and trim the dash.

i wouldnt mind trying to fit one though, but i reckon its not gona be cheap :(

yea you did say mate, but i started this before i asked you lol but even tho it would still be nice to manage to squeeze one into a corsa dash just to be different :)

top one looks wicked, especialy if the rev counter fills up and goes red at the top
(as apposed to a digital needle moving up and down)
altho i would have to make it glow white rather than smokers teeth yellow lol

think that would be one mod on my corsa when i finaly buy one lol

i shouldnt think a senator/carlton one would fit to be honest as there quite big plus ive heard that some of them pick up there speed signal off the abs sensor so if your corsa aint got abs your screwed, but i suppose there could be ways round it if you thought about it a bit :lol:
RED Corsa GSi Owner - Thats one GSi saved from the scrapheap and the pikeys who break them or ruin them with tacky mods :D

i'l have to have a go at making one ;) iv got a spare dash surround, and i know of GTE dials aswell... :D ;)
