cheap tuning

Post by DIMITRIS CORSA B »

a friend has a 1.200cc 8v 1994 engine and he wants to upgrade it a bit, he already has an air filter and a group N exhaust. what else he can do by his self without spending money or with spending a few! how about increasing pressure or something like this?

to be honest mate a 1.2 isnt the best engine to try and tune, imo you need atleast a 1.4. and to get power out of a 1.2 will cost quite abit of cash and probably cheaper to drop a 1.4 or higher in (if you can do the work yourself). I know the insurance goes up but it does after you do mods on the 1.2 and if you dont tell the insurance you run the risk of it being invalid when you need it anyway lol.

aparently the internals of a nova 1.3 fit inside the corsa B, and if you swap the cams over etc thats suposed to give some more power, take a search on google is your best bet mate,
