Take off the egr valve and give it a thorough clean, as is shown in the how tos on here. If the car is idling fine then the tps should be ok. If cleaning the egr does not help, unclip the camshaft sensor, and see it the car still starts, if it does undo the crankshaft sensor and see what happens. It could be that one or the other has gone on the blink.
Try the paperclip test, it might work, and will give you powertrain faults, use as described in this forum how tos as well.
It must be a timing/mixture problem, and as such you may just get the right codes to help deal with your problem, it would be best though if you could get someone with a fault code reader to do this for you.

thanks a lot for your help.it starts fine idles spot on intill you rev it and it trys to die splutters and backfires under bonnet i just bourght it ran fine when i got it only had it a few days past its m.o.t no problem then when i got in car to drive it back home it wouldnt run right. if you hold accellerator dwn slowly graduly it will rev but only at 1100 revs then it will pick up now and agen n drop down again.i was told its common problem the air flows and egr plus cam sensor i need it fixed to get to college as iam a trainee mechanic and i have a calibra but too much to run i only get 380 a month hope fully i will get it sorted thanks again i will get back to u
