Re: M.O.T FAILURE ( how much ?? ) !!
bloody hell.... i aint a mechanic but with an MOT failure list that big i think you might be looking at a new car for around the same money as fixing it even with m8s help.
personally the thing i wud be most worried about is the corrosion as it can be a bitch to fix to an mot standard and the whole overheating and coolant leak problem.... any idea whats causing that? headgasket? or something more minor?
the steering rack and wheel bearing stuff are pretty easy and fairly cheap to sort tbh, or at least they can be done. a busted engine or rust problems is a lot harder 2 put right imo

Re: M.O.T FAILURE ( how much ?? ) !!
they dont even need to get into the petrol flap?!? so whys that an advisory?!? but by the sounds of it i dont like your steering column rear wheel bearing is easy enough to do, just put fibreglass over the rear suposedly rust bit and paint it black, and the front cv joint make sure its clean and put back in place and then cable tie it, they cant fair it on insecurely mounted i dont think, aslong as theirs no grease escaping from the gaiter itself, but the steering column is going to be the hardest, iv never removed one.

Re: M.O.T FAILURE ( how much ?? ) !!
ano PETROL CAP WTF lol. ive done all the lights in 5 mins , just changed them to the origional red ones i had in garage. also had to remove the ''corsa-b.co.uk'' logo at top of windscreen. even though it didnt extend further than the origional sun tinting at the top
tbh i just think there picky tw@ts as there all old farts. dont think they like modified cars
with the whole engine overheating problem ive found out the fan doesnt work . so will have to look into that.
but the steering will have be done by a machanic , the rest i can get from the scrapyard hopefully.
