boot catch problem help needed

hello all, recently my boot catch has stopped catching.
has this happened to anyone else and how did they fix it ?

if you cant get into the boot at all you need to fold the back seats down and get in that way, then you need to take the card off (the card that the parcel shelf strings attatch to) and there are 3 bolts that hold the lock in, tighten them up and you should be ok, if not you need to replace the lock.

cheers but its not the lock it is the catch , it opens but will not hold itself shut.

do i require the unit that sits in he bottom of boot door with the catch in ???????

try it with a screwdriver, open the boot door and try locking the catch using the screwdriver like its the catch bit in the boot, if it locks then you need to adjust the boot catch, if it dont then you prob need a new door catch

mine did this the other day, i just kept slaming it, wiggles the key a bit and tryed again, worked eventually

i also found by removing the wiper motor ive took almost all the weight off the boot lid so it takes abit more to get it shut

cheers all still not fixed can anyone say wether there is a difference between 3 door and 5 door corsa boot catch ? as ive found one on fleabay but saysit came out of a 5 door . surely the catch is the same isnt it ???
