Hi guys,
Im new on here and thought it would be a good place for tips and advice!
Im 17 and getting driving lessons, my theory is booked.
Im liking the idea of getting a corsa b although my budget isnt massive would probably be about £1300 / £1400.
I like the look of the sport models and the gsi, but obviously i've got to think about insurance!
so i may get a smaller engine b and fit a gsi kit?
over time as i get more money i'd look at adding more mods.
Im into smooth, low and loud cars.
Any advice or ideas guys?

Re: Advice with first car!
buy a 1L or a 1.2L for about £800 tops
insure it for £1200 ish if your lucky third party fire and theft
dont attempt looking for a gsi kit unless u magically find one for a cheap price or u magically gain £200 plus it might need to be sprayed to match the car colour
back box changes are simple sound mods and drilling or like i did, hacksaw at a section of the air box for even more noise
drop it 40-60mm for about £80
alloys £150 and bit more for tyres but make sure u get right offset
anything else and its more un needed expense

Cheers mate. I work part time so I've got an average of £300 coming in each month if this helps to give an idea where my budget is at.

Re: Advice with first car!
There's a couple of seriously tidy b's in my area that inspired me. Lol
I had a look at your project dunc and she's looking tidy.
Payday now lads 1 more payslip and I'll be hunting down a car I've got some overtime coming up too so that'll boost the budget a little.

735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
