another new project (redtop)

as some of u may no my two cars that i have from previous project threads, so due to funds and the running cost of two cars i have decided to put the redtop engine from black sri track car into my red gsi replica.
i have started removing the redtop engine and wiring ready for the swap so i just need a little spare time to swap the engines over ready for pvs show.

the redtop engine has been fully rebuilt with low comp pistons, lightened and balanced crank, ported head, high lift cams and springs, ajustable cam pulleys, modified inlet with a ram air induction kit and a full stainless powerflow exhaust.

the red corsa now has a set a black astra gsi fanblades and 4 new yokohama rotation tyres and black corsa sport body kit

i will get pics up asap and when im done doing the convertion my black corsa will be up for sale with a 1.4 16valve sri engine with a set of high lift cams fitted and cat back sportex system, gsi bodykit, gsi alloys, coilovers, track plastic windows etc .

so hope u enjoy the project thread when i start getting the build rolling.

i no it is but i need a car i can use all year round and the black one hasnt got no heating or anything so thats the reason im putting the engine in my other one

havnt posted in a while been mega busy but over the weekend iv stripped both cars ready for the engine swaps and i found out that i have a c20let block on my redtop so gonna be looking for a turbo set up when i get paid again lol will post pics soon.

iv got the redtop in just gotta fit the loom, exhaust, fuel pipes and suspension now so hopefully should be up and running tomo good times haha

got the engine and everything else in my red corsa now but ran into a few problems firstly the crankshaft sensor was broken and now just found that my coil and starting relay is mouldy and corroded inside so hopefully with my new parts coming tommorow it should be running sweet

changed the crankshaft sensor still some problem but found a relay that had been water damaged and was all mouldy inside so changed that and sorted my fueling problem out and now i have a bad missfire found out that my spark was rubbish so today getting new ht leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm so hopefully that will sort it i need my car haha

finally managed to get my pics up the car looks a bit crap aint cleaned it properly b4 i did the convertion so not been polished or anything in about 2-3 months.

so far the changes are redtop c20xe engine with c20let block, custom intake, fully rebuilt internals, full exhaust system including 4 branch, f20 box, partly stripped out interior, digi dash, black corsa sport front bumper with colour coded archs, rear bumper, wing mirrors and door handles, astra gsi fan blades sprayed black, big brakes with green stuff pads, different suspension set up around 60-70 mm. i think thats it if i think of anything will post it with pics.

lol its called lots of over time haha helps with the money and it took a week to do the full convertion and get it running right and lookin the way it does

What inlet pipe is that mate ?? looks interesting and looking for something better for my redtop.

im gonna be spraying the rocker cover red and the spark plug cover black and its a custom made inlet pipe with a ram air induction kit behind the bumper
