Post by Mike_Parr »

Hey, just having a look at some Corsa's for my brother, this one seems like a good one, but I would rather have other peoples opinions on it, myself and my bro likes it, (Except for the airbag not present) so your views would be muchly appreciated!!

for one its a five door :lol: unless its a five door your looking for? only thing is tho with the MOT being up end of this year you'v got to think well what will it possibly need to get it through... and if you go to look check the brake pipes for cracking, and front and rear chassis members for holes and rust, and if you can take a jack and check wheel bearings and for play in the front steering, but yea looks a tidy straight car, also check the chassis number is the same as whats on the dashboard, and sometimes same as whats imbedded into the glass, (some cars dont have this, my sport doesnt yet my 1.2 did) but yea dont look to bad for £690 you should get that for £550 maybe.
TURBO LAG IS JUST FOREPLAY ;)

2.0 16v GSI SPORT TWIN WEBER 45'S AND KENT CAMS :]

stay well clear of 5 doors mate, they never look as gd as 3 doors.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Just went to view it - I think a skip would be in better condition!!

- Rear shocks had gone;
- Wipers were crap;
- Battery was leaking;
- Lights were dim;
- Stalks were poor (needed a large amount of force to engage "flash beam") ;
- Had starting problems;
- Rusty wheels, and;
- Smoke was coming from inbetween the steering wheel and column!

HEAP.
