Re: Corsa trip projecto
they look ok to me mate, but why do u need coilovers if your not using it on the track? i have fk automotive coilovers and appart from when i fitted them i have never adjusted them. save yourself some money and just get a lowering kit.
if you want cheapish coilovers get some second hand ones. forums like mig web and corsasport are the best place.

Re: Corsa trip projecto
i want to have it sitting exactly how i want it, i have seen corsa's with 60mm all around and the back sits up in the air it looks silly
and i have 15" 's at the mo, but i plan on getting 13" banded steels so then i will need it lower and for the money theres not a big difference in them coilys and shocks and springs
but thanks for the advice never the less

If you go with the lowering kit, there's always the possibility of getting more, lower springs if you don't like it? Or go old-skool and get the grinder out! But shortened dampers would be a good start because the noise that came from the back of my car with knackered dampers quickly got on my nerves.

MattMK wrote:Hi every one got my corsa about a week ago now as i had enough of my fiesta so thought i'd get a project thread up. Its just a 1.0 12v but im not going to race it so it dont matter lol.
Its low milage and has full service history, previous owners c/c'd the whole thing and had some poney alloys on it lol, the c/c isnt the best in the world but saved me doing it. so heres some pictures
These are just the ebay pics
So when i got it home i gave it a good wash and wax and de-badged the back, gave it a good hoover but over all its a rely clean car for the age, these are just pics of it after de-badged.
Im going for a sort of euro look, my plans for it are...
Cors C SXI alloys or other vauxhall ones
Badgless-grill
HIDS or angle's not sure
Springs
Smooth boot
Smooth rear bumper
Smooth front bumper (number plate recess)
GSI skirts or other subtle ones
Clear side repeaters
Wind defflectors
Opel mudflaps and a few other subtle mods
Any helpfull coments would be great
Many thanks
Matt

Re: Corsa trip projecto
Another up-date...got my self some clear angel lights for 30 quid, but the clear ones look poo and where ther halo's had become loose some fool had put loads of glue all over them! so removed the glass, halo's took all the glue off and sprayed them black
Not sure if they are legal but hey ho just put the standerds back on if i get any hassle, any way one some pics.
with the glass on you cant rely tell that they are angels
and the finished thing, will take a pic later when it gets dark and see what they look ike
also my car went on a rolling road the other day just for fun lol putting out 60bhp lool (6 more then standerd) i did find that funny all i have done is put a cheap air filter on i got from pvs lol dont worry im not racing a 1.0 lol
