Can we change door looms with ease?

i have the 2 pin connector and was wondering that if i get a 12pin connector will i just need to take the old one out and in wth the new?

oh actually first, you know where your door loom joins onto the car, remove that connector and check how many connectors you have on the car side, if you have two then you'l have to change the whole rear loom of the car which is a bitch, but it is possible, as me and duncan on here had to do it to his car.

is there any soldering required or isit a straight swap in a bitchy way. lol

no not really, you just have to join the fuel pump wires i think they are, and you then just need to strip out the two wire that go to the aerial and thats it then pretty much, it does take alot of doing tho!!! me and a mate JUST about managed to do it, in one day JUST and we were working flat out.
