replacing the handbrake Gaitor, clock lights not working

Post by millzy »

recently have bought a W reg corsa, and have begun replacing various bits on it,

have replaced the gearstick gaitor which is pretty straight forward, but cant quite figure out how to replace the handbrake gaitor... any ideas?

also the temperature and radio channel display unit works, and you can see what is says on a sunny day, but the rear lights dont work, how do i remove it to replace to bulbs?

cheers

look in the faq theres a guide for replacing the centre console it shows u how to remove the mfd. basicly theres 2 screws behind the middle heater vents, undo them and your mfd will lift off, then u will just have to replace the bulbs.

the hand brake gator is held on by a cable tie or sumit at the top and is secured to a piece of plastic at the bottom. the piece of plastic is then put through very very tight hole in the carpet. so to remove it you need to some how remove the plastic bit from under the carpet cut the cable tie and bobs ur uncle.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
