*UPDATE*

Got thr rounded bolt off and have the head off completly
got the old exhaust off as some badger decided to fit a completly wrong one on so thts sorted
recived my gasket but turned out to be wrong one so ill send it bak hope to get more done wen i get right gasket back (pics soon)

some guy made an exhaust ( aftermarket ) probably for a corsa c or a or some poo like tht and forced it in it rattled it melted my rear bumper :/ O_o it up :L

here can i still get them bolts?
and cam pully?

head bolts should be changed every time they are disturbed as they are stretch bolts and are designed to stretch a specefic amount intead of being tightened to a torque setting they are done in degrees ,pretty basic stuff and a real bodge job using second hand bolts just do the job correctly and you run no risks of cock ups

its going to work out cheaper to buy a set of head bolts from any motor factor for £15 quid than pulling it all to bits again in a couple of weeks to do it all again when you blow the head gasket to bits ,trust me i do this job for a living and you are asking for big trouble

i can buy a complete top end gasket set including head bolts for less than that and have just rebuilt a 16 astra 8 valve top end and the head bolts were only 14 quid ,i suggest you change your supplier as he is ripping you off

Got my new head bolts ( thx bluecorsab )
Lost my camera :/ so i cant take pics :L but ill try find it
Bought a new midpipe for my exhsaust.
Bought 2 new oil filters one for the flush and one to put on after and one fuel filter
sent back my head gasket to get the right one.
and just been generally taking things to pieces and puting it back together to learn :)

ohh and i put on super white halogen bulbs is it ok tht they feel really hot on the plastic ? :L

how much was your fuel filter? i need one for mine lol, is the engine rebuilt yet? what you mean feel really hot on the plastic?

i got mine off a mate for 4 quid so i cant tell you what it would cost. there are 83 results on ebay for corsa b fuel filter

and no i havent recieved the right gasket back

well the halogen bulg as soon as there turned on heats up the plastic at the front of the light ( lens ) doesnt get much hotter but im just waiting for it to blow up :L

it might just be with the heat/energy the bulb uses tbh
