imo it looks pretty nice (obv getting rid of the 17s) and looks a gd price. but is it 2 gd. any1 think it could have some problems and if so you got any tips about what 2 look for when we look at it?

just 2 let u know it was a cat D write off in 2007 but i dont think that should matter 2 much

so far ive messaged the guy asking if its still for sale but got no reply, if he dont reply 2moz im gonna fb message him (dont have him as a friend but got his name so can get his fb)

yeh why not lol i rekon he is a bit of a barry boy so the engine may be a bit shagged??? and he's converted it from a 1.2 to a 1.4 (don't really see the point in that ll) not too many miles for the age, averages 8,500 per year so pretty good actually. Defo get rid of the 17's , you will get a good price for thyem on ebay.

If i was going to look at it id check the arches coz its been lowered 60mm on 17 inch tsw's and some tsw's dont fit straight on so he might have done some hidden work with the arches

i wudt touch it mate! never buy a modified car! he's probly blown the 1.2 revvin the tits off it. then put the 1.4 in himself and reved the tits off that!

also how do you know them mies are genuin? that mite have been the right miles for the 1.2 but the 1.4 cud have been to the moon and back!

I personally wound not buy a car that been classed as write of.
Check where it got repaired and check the work your self.
Plenty of other corsa's on the rd for sale m8

and matty yeh u got a gd point, i know u know ur stuff and yeh it could quite easily have had that happen. but it could simply be that the guy wanted more power without telling his insurance. a c20xe is pretty obv 2 any1 that sees it but a 1.4 could get by undetected maybe

look on e-bay or places like that, if not auto trader sells corsa b's dirt cheap with low miles and great for a base car to modify yourself??/ why not look there?? at least then you can do it up how you want from the start and you can make sure it's not got a hidden past.
