lowering springs

Post by webster91 »

I am thinking of buying some new springs to lower my corsa, preferably 40 mm. Is the suspension gonna be any firmer or will it be just as flimsy as the standard suspension i have now? and is there anythin else i need to buy or can i just buy the lowering springs and get them fitted straight away?

just buying springs will only lower the car, the ride will still be as soft unless you buy stiffened struts aswell. i have a set of stiffened struts and 40mm springs front and rear if your intrested, would have to be picked up tho due to weight, where abouts you from?

ah even better i work at the power station, but live near to craven arms / ludlow. i'd be looking about £80 because they are good struts i bought the set of a mate for £100 only used them for about a month, because i lost my keys, plus iv got a diesel to drive to and from work during the week, and now iv invested in a 1.4 16v instead and got coilovers on so i dont need them anymore.

eh? i have the shocks and springs as such, so it would be a remove and replace process, i cant remember quite, but i think you might have to strip your front suspension down to use the top mounts because i think mine are taken apart at the moment, but yea front shocks and springs and rear shocks and springs for £80.
