Im gonna put a c20ne in my 2000 corsa b, it hasnt got a cat fitted on the new exhaust but does have a lamba sensor.
Is there anyway around this other than fitting a cat? If not, which cat would be best and fit (with welder) under the corsa?
thanks!
Will it pass mot?

It wont pass without a cat. But i dont suppose it matters which cat you use. Try get one for your engine or summit

HI AM A TESTER AND THE ONLY WAY AROUND IT IS IF YOU REGISTER THE ENGINE SWAP WITH DVLA. BECAUSE THEN YOU HAVE TO TEST THE EMISSION ON THE AGE OF THE ENGINE NOT THE CAR. SO IF THE ENGINES OLD ENOUGH NOT TO HAVE A CAT BINGO. IF NOT I THINK A CAT OFF THE C20XE MAY FIT, CHEERS

if its a 20xe then then it wont have a cat as thats from a astra gte, a c20xe does have a cat. if its not declared then it will go through the emissions test under the original engine thats on the system
