PRICER wrote:right, iv swapped back to my standard manifold, and now iv got the power box fitted, i dont know what to think... its made it really flat and moved all the revs up around 5,000 rpm or well thats how it feels anyway yet it when you do get drop down and put your foot flat down it dont half go, also this would still pass an MOT wouldnt it? as iv got mine in couple of months. just got to plug my mates laptop up to it sometime see whats this problem is, as after driving it for a while and the engines got walm the ecu light comes on and stays on but doesnt affect the running of the engine so not entirely sure what that is, it might be the EGR valve but im sure i plugged that in... any ideas on anything?
if its revving at 5000rpm...the odds are it couldnt pass an m.o.t because they do they emmisions test at about 3000 so the emmisions will be higher so unless your car is running real clean it may not pass

its not idling at 5,000rpm  an easy way to explain it is its like turbo boost, before the turbo boost seemed to kick in at 3500 ish (standard) but now it seems to start at 5,000 but it does go all the way to the limiter at 6500 but it still feels as tho its pulling even at 6500rpm. yet when i took it up telford bypass (steep bank/bypass) i can reach 87/90mph at the top, when i had stanard intake and four branch i was at about 84mph so i must still have the same amount of oompft just feels alot different, got to rev it more before it kicks in, but when it does you cant half feel it!! :D

anyway, just done a bit more to it, iv lowered it back down another 10mm now iv got the standard manifold back on :D also i took the drivers rear wheel off and plastic arch trim and bent the arch out a bit as it was catching, i had to do the same with my old corsa, it works tho, :D it doesnt catch no-where near as bad as before 8) they are running 205 tyres on the back tho, cant wait until they wear down so i can put standard 195's on then it wont scrub at all

lookin good mate, hav you already had a go at changing the mileage?
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

havent had any progress just lately, iv become lazy  i have fully sanded the front bumper, and the one side skirt, and iv sprayed the one L piece, and thats about as far as iv got  the dash is still in the same state as what it looks like on here to  oh and my drivers front strut nut is loose so iv got to sort that out aswell somehow :meh: i think some washers might be needed. because its proper annoying driving along and having it banging away.
