Rough price of HG repair

Hi guys,

Wondered if anyone could tel me the rough price of a HG repair on a 1994 Corsa B 1.2.

55k on the clock, started to loose water, checked it today and water is coming from the front of the HG area. No water in oil, just the leak at the gasket.

if you are prepared to do it yourself then its only going to cost about £100 thats including everything but if you stick it in a garage you can say goodbye to the best part of £400.my advice do it yourself as its so easy

I did wonder if it was something I could do myself. Not majorly mechanically minded, but enough to get by.

A worry would be the timing once its all back together.

all you will need is a basic toolkit and buy or borrow a haynes manual will only take a couple of hours ,if you was local to me i would do it for you while you wait as its that simple
