Early model (1994) centre console removal?

Hi there, just purchased a 1994 3d 1,4 c14SE (82hp) sport.
The heater dials are dim so I suspect the bulbs need replacing.
After completing the steps outlined in faq/guide section here, the console is still stuck.
the guide says: "**be warned on earlier model corsas there is an additional 2 screws on the rear of the console above where the bulbs go that hold the heater ducting**"
I suspect these to be the culprit. Perhaps someone with experience could shed some light on how to unscrew these?

never mind, I got it. PIA of a job but managed to get it done without breaking anything.
