Hey lads, tried to swap out my suspension today only to find I can't get the rear shock top lock-nut loose, tried the two spanner technique but the metal was just too soft and curled when twisting..
Any other way to get these off? I'll add up a picture to show exactly what I mean later.
~Cheers, Brandon.

Re: Rear suspension
what i do sometimes is get some mole grips and clamp the top of the strut from inside the wheel arch, and then turn the nut on the top

Re: Rear suspension
Cheers mate, I've also just been told to heat up the top nut to loosen it so will give that a go first as I don't own any mole grips, but if that fails I guess I'll have to invest in some haha
