Corsa TRIP 12V 1.0 - Stalling Problem

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I have just bought my Corsa and I am already having major problems. Every time I start the car, it shakes very violently. When I push the clutch down and get it into first, the car just shakes more and cuts out completely.

I can get it moving by pushing the accelerator and quickly moving off, but when coming to a stop and putting it into first, it cuts out straight away. There also seems to be a loud screeching noise while putting it in gear. Someone has already told me it could be the clutch plates but does anyone else have any ideas?
