hey all,
i been tryin to get engine oil out my carpet behind the driver seat (which aint goin very well) with a industrial carpet cleaner. and now i cant bloody see where im goin!!! ive used it to suck up as much water as possible, and theres major condensation on the inside of the windows.
i been drivin around with the heat up full tryin to dry it out, but no luck.
anyone got any ideas??

I just go over and over the wet area with a wet and dry hoover till its hardly sucking any water out of the carpet, then I shut all the windows and doors and run the car with the heaters up full for a while, eventually it all drys out. (used to be a car valeter so I did this everyday haha)

thank you, also how am i gonna get the oil out?? im thinkin fairy liquid and a wet/dry vac???

swarfega works quite well, just rub a little in like you would do on your hands, then give it a good scrub keeping it wet. The girlfriends mother did it on the stair carpet last weekend and it worked a treat. Or you could spray some degreaser on it and do the same. Hope that helps mate
