Rear speakers problem

Post by furkick »

Hiya bit of a silly question but here goes, a couple of days ago i fitted some new speakers to my 95 reg corsa b front and rear. They are juice 13cm speaker max watt 160 running from my kenwood headunit 4x50w, right now the problem, the front speakers sound really loud and clear, but the rears just don't match, they sound good but not the same, ive checked all my settings on the headunit and they are all level. I ran bullet connectors from the original wiring loom to a new speaker cable. Isit possible that i have connected the positive to negative and vice versa??
Thanks Chris

only one way to find out....
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Ok thamls ill try that tommorow, any other ideas why they don't sound as good as front, just for the note ive placed the rear speakers where the original OEM ones would be using autolead adapters. Its just baffled me im not to bugged by it just wondering why.

thanks

Swap em round and see mate, if they are the wrong way round, the speaker will go backwards (its only a magnet) so swap them and see, if not you might want to wire them to an amp ;)

Could be that your getting mono instead of stereo and that might sound different to the front speakers, check wires and change in required ok.
