need help mayo like problem under oil cap

hi problem with corsa 1.2 8valve theres a build up of mayo like stuff under the oil cap but the head gasket and valves and everything was replaced when my timing belt snapped a while back but recently there been a build up of mayo under the oil cap any ideas please thanks.

i was for the last couple of months but that was when i was with me las we used to sit in hers but we been broke up the last two weeks so i have been driving round every night for the last two weeks to help get over her so dont get it lol.

i do lots of short trips and i started to get the creamy stuff appear then i went for a long drive as in 2 and half hours drive to go somewhere wit my other car club then when i got there the creamy stuff had gone and hasn't come back so might just need a gd road trip

all it is mate, is due to the short journeys, and the build up of condensation inside your engines cam cover etc, if you say your engine temp is sitting alright, and you havent long had the head done, then theirs nothing to worry, if you wipe it off and do a long journey then you should see it disappear, orr its due to the newness of the engine, but i guess you'v had the head done for a while, as i dropped another 1.2 8v engine into my old car, and drove around to the farm (about 5 miles) and checked bonnet and saw cream, but i wiped it off, and i never saw any again as i was driving 28 miles to work everyday, so it was fine after that, the engine had been stood before for a few weeks tho, so it was just moisture build up in the engine.

iam having the same prob not using any more warter or oil tho and seems 2 be runing find also temp is not going high but iam always doing short trips as work is only 5 miles away

i have had the oil cap of yesterday cleaned the gunk that was round it put it back on but was out last night not looked since so when i get it back from the garage today i am going to have a look at it its in the garage for somthing diffrent now lol a knocking sound from drivers side when taking left corners lol
