sweet, gonna be a good loking car, well i dont think im gonna split it, coz knowing my luck i wont be able to get it back together lol

ive sanded it down today and i think the rattle cans will be here tomoz, aswell as GSI badge and neverbeen sticker

im thinking of doing interior out first before i do exterior. although i have gotta try and sort out paintwork and also my bumpers and wheel arches have come away from the body so ive just gotta do some touchups

im thinking of spraying all the bits of interior plastic white/black
then black/white seat covers/seats
white/black mats
tint rear windows and lights
lower
new alloys possibly

then see what i can do from there

haha, that does look sweet, but tbh im never going to be able to buy the stuff to put on it let alone the insurance lol,

btw how did you smooth out ur bumpers etc?

i would love a car that nice, but i would never be able to afford it, plus them wheels are probably like a grand lol

you dont need to spend loads on your car to make it look nice mate i have done my project by myself and gettin hands on with it and dont be scared of f**k it up just do it againthats how i have been doing mine

sand them back them filler them simple as that, go halfords and buy sand papper, filler and mix it the filler where you want and sand it back to make the shape you want, practise first then do it to the car

well on mine i have only spant about £1000 if that and thats with the wheels, look though ebay mate pick up dirt cheap stuff and on the forum trust me you will see you dont have to spend loads to do up a car, nice set of wheels your looking at about £500 if that little things stand out the most, have a laugh with the car and do what you want to it and mix things up, like me im doing it boso, never been done before to a corsa lol

okay cheers, im thinking of doing tht to my bumpers, but my paintwork is all screwed up, i need to get right colour for my car :/

oh right, i think ill miss out the wheels until i get some more money :/ ill just have to think of loads of little things to keep doing it when they come round to it.

can defo be done on the cheap! i knew nothing about car bodywork, but through forums and youtube etc. i've picked up some knowledge and the best way to learn after that is just get involved!! by far the most expensive thing you will ever buy to change the look of your car is a set of wheels, but so much else can change the look dramatically for next to nothing! simple things like pressed plates for 20 bucks will give it a whole new look, for example.

best thing to do mate is buy a spare set of bumpers and practise thats way you can get them how you want without keeping the car off the road, for the colour go to halfords and get them to look at your chassis plate to get the colour code and mix the right colour for you

yea wheels are the expensive part but even still your can pick up a good set quite cheap but its all about deep dish and in my eyes retro, look at porsche cookie cutters or teledials or even a set of banded steelies with moon disc hubs now that would look rude in my eyes and will set you back about £300

just keep it simple and different and you will be onto a winner

yer i suppose i could do that , see how good i can do it lol, yer i noticed on thier website that they make up paints might have to go and try that, see if i can get the right colour.

well i found some 16" on ebay for 30 squid i was advised not to put them on though coz they was gonna effect my steering and handling too much, plus i was gonna have to buy the tyres and they like 200 pound :/

i could of swapped them with a guy on here :/ but i dunno wether ill bother coz i wont pt them on insurance :/ well i got my heart set on a black and white corsa

im gonna do all the inside out first, coz it simple and reasonably easy to do then ill start on exterior when i get some more monies, how did you manage to do ur wheel arches and side skirts?? it looks alot different and wierd, but still good

mate its all about gettin hands on and it really isnt as difficult as you think

thats a load of wank doesnt really affeft your handling atal just make sure that if you get larger wheels you get you tracking done at the same time

did you look at the wheels i set you? if you got the you would be a legend

with my arches i took the original ones of and cut the lip due to my wheels scrubbing and now have plenty of room to drop it more and them bought some bolt on arches lined them up where i was happy with them and self taping screwed them in place, bish bash bosh job done lol

i like getting hands on aswell, just i have a few issues with my car

well the guy that done my service said that 16" are not really suitable for corsas as they are big wheels, and little arches

yer i just had a quick look, they would be nice on a black car or red, but as mine is white i really dont think they will go with mine lol

thats a load of bollocks mate im a mechanic and it dont matter what size wheels you use just as long as they wheel/tyre doesnt comme into contact with the arch or body work, i had my old corsa had a 50mm drop sitting on 15s and i had no problem just make sure there low pro tyres ie 195/45 r15

just re-spray them mate lol would look the tits and you know it makes sence lol

yea a piece or piss, just get hands on and you will find it easier and easier the more you do it

oh well thts a bit poo. they do have arch clearance just, well they are 195/45 r16 so :/ make any difference?? but i have gotta get new tyres if i wanna put em on though, they cost me like 200 quid for tyres

well i think i might try and grab some new bumpers anyways as the ones i got arnt the right colour and are basically hanging off lol. but i might have a go at trying to smooth them down

yea thats low pro mate so shouldnt have a problem but depends on what drop you wanna do? yea tyres are a fair bit tbh mate

just go down a scrappy pick up front and rear for bout £40 if that, scrappy is a modders best friend

haha i keep thinking that, might be able to grab some new wheels aswell, i defo need new bumpers tho, my mate works on scrappy so might go and have a look there lol

would be ideal to get coilovers and they are cheap on ebay, set im going to get are £180 for full set imported from germany

yea you never know what you will pick up from a scrappy, a mate of mine got a set of morrette for £10 coz the geezer working in the scrap yard didnt know what they were lol lucky bastard
