hello my car and my question

Hi everybody. İm from turkey izmir. i have a corsa b gsi '97 ecotec 106 hp. and my car
white is mine.

i have question about motor oil..

i have already use GM 10W40 Engine oil in my car now.

i want change my oil.. and have 3 chose

1- Mobil 1 super 2000 10w40 engine oil (semi syntetic) 25€

2- mobil 1 super 3000 5w40 engine oil ( fully syntetic) 32 €

3- Castrol Edge 5w40 engine oil (fully syntetic ) 35€

now i use 10w40 if i change my oil with a 5w40 do any problem in engine ? 5w40 fully syntetic is proper with my engine ?

if proper 5w40 oil which brand ( mobil 1 & castrol edge ) better than other ?

hey mate welcome, smart corsa.

why is it that you want to change the oil? i use gm 10w40 and my car runs fine. at the end of the day thats the oil the engine came out the factory with and its worked fine for years.

oil is end of life 7.500 km

so why not replace it with gm 10w 40?

i dont trust gm oil cause mobil 1 castrol valvoline are big brands but gm oil is not manufacturing from gm ( anterior manufacturing gm oils shell ) but now in turkey gm oil manufacturing by dew oil dew oil are not bad but quality not better than mobil1 castrol or valvoline

i want try a fully syntetic oil on my car. gm is good but not for this time next time maybe i use gm oil again.

anyone use mobil 1 or castrol ? please share a idea ?
