Spongy Brakes :(

Post by furkick »

Hi, i have a 1995 corsa b 1.2 8v, about a month ago i had the car booked into a local garage to look at my brakes as the brake pedal was going down about 3/4 before they would do anything, they replace the pads and the cyclinders at the rear, since then about a week ago the spongy brakes have returned i feel like im just chucking money into this car, any ideas what to do??

Regards Chris

sounds like they need bleeding. trouble with brake fluid is it soaks up moisture in the air, this make your brakes spongy.
bleeding is easy enough, but its a 2 man job unless you get a oneway valve, or a vacuume kit. both can be found on ebay.
