hi all new to this. brought me a little 1.2 n reg corsa really tidy for its age had to replace a wing. however on the way to work today i was driving along quite comfortably can to the island as normal went to pull of and it was like the car had no power what so ever. once you come bk off the accelerator its fine this has happend a couple of times after this any ideas im a bit concerned?

my car does the same, i've been told that its the ecu software. apparently when you take your car to vauxhall for a service they will also upgrade the ecu software and this irons out any glitch's, but if your car is like mine i service it my self so its never been done.

Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

so does this mean im gunna have to take it to vauxhall cuz it was a bit dangerous wen i thought i could pull out n couldnt nearly had a van up my back side

does it seem to misfire? my old 8v done that and the roator arm was broken, replaced it, was spot on, never heard about having to have an ecu upgrade???

no it doesnt misfire. iv changed the plugs and ht leads plus cleaned up the dizzy i now have abother problem the heaters dont seem to be getting very hot jus luke warm any ideas?

could be an early sign the headgasket is on the way out, my girlfriends had the same kind of problem. is there any oil coming from the engine block? have u checked the oil and water leves recently?
