will 16 inch alloys affect handling/make it worse?

i got some alloys a few weeks back and i took them to 2 different garages

one said it will affect acceleration

the other one said it will make my handling dramaticlly worse

i dont know what to beleive could i have some help please as i really want them on thanks

going on 16's is fine. do it. because the outside diameter of the 16inch tyres compared to the outside diameter of the 15inch tyres you will be going slightly faster than your speedo tells your in your car. also your acceleration will be slightly slower due to the slightly larger wheels but nothing major. and it wont affect your steering. you will want to do your tracking after fitting them tho because they might affect that slightly. but apart from that just MAKE SURE THEY WILL FIT under your arches that is if you have lowered your car. otherwise they might scrape.

okay mate cheers. i have checked the clearance and it is fine. acceleration is alright though, doesnt really matter about tht lol

do you know how much difference the speed will make? as i dont wanna get caught by speed camera lol

now gotts get money to put tyres on lol
