1.4 8V white corsa LS

Post by brendy »

here i have my 1993 white 1.4 8 valve corsa LS

got it with
MOT till march 2011
tax till end of sept 2010
124000 miles on the clock

all for 500 quid.

it had tinted windows which i took off coz they were poorly done
debadged front and back (front needs to be done again as they have used chicken wire)
vauxhall alloys

heres some pics of it (car was a little bit muddy when i took pictures :P lol)

when i got it i had to buy some seat covers etc, as i wasnt happy with the grey look of the interior. so i bought front and back seat covers, 4 mats, steering wheel cover and 2 front harness pads. (will get pictures soon as they dont seem to be downloading properly)

i also bought 2 urbanX 350 watt 6x9's, i then got a bargain from my mate, i got a fusion encounter sub and alpine V12 Amp for 40 quid. i also got given 2 head units, but not sure which one to use, as they both have thier downsides.

i then decided to tart up interior as i dont like the grey look, so i painted door buckets black and have them put in now
these are the various stages i done it in;

things that are possible things to be done:
tint 3 back windows
spray alloys black or any colour that will take focus off the rest of the car lol
spray some of the interior plastics black and white ;
- door handles
- centre console
- glove box
- gear surround plastic
- abc pillars
- dial surround
re cover door panels with black fabric maybe roof
angel front lights
tint back lights

thats all i can think of without changing the exterior too much as insurnace will go up, plus might not have enough money to do all this, and im not to keen on my car being reliable for much longer :/

any ideas anyone??

comments welcome :D :)

great buy mate love white corsas me self . but i think you should save all the money you can and take it to a garage to have the engine rebuilt and a few new important things on the engine changed to new eg gaskets and filters and have all the oils flushed out and then new oil put in because 124000 miles is alot the engine might go pop soon.

cheers. i do like the white, but the paintwork is faded and and someone who had car before me has painted the plastic bumpers white and they different shades so looks a bit wierd from close up :/ yer well i was thinking of doing that actually coz the engine is starting to make a wierd screeching sound on the right hand side of the engine :/ i was thinking of getting an engine rebuild or a new engine :/ but im not sure yet :/ might just get a new car after the new year :/

cheers mate. the centre console was a b*tch to get on. i think i may of broken the two dials either side as they keep falling down and air is blowing to the floor lol. and its also made mt hazard light button stuck lol. but i do like the white bits. i did make a newbie mistake of not covering all of the tyre and it got some grey spray on them :/ but i think it washed off now so alls good :D
im also thinking of doing more to it but i not sure :/
